Downloaded and erased after few minutes. Useless. Zero stars if possible.

One star reviews should learn how to read. Your iPhone does not have an RF output or IR output. That is why this software directs you to a website where you can buy infrared devices for your iPhone or iPad or iPod touch. Thats what all these remote apps require before they will work! Stop saying its a useless app, you have to have the hardware installed and then give it a fair try before saying its useless.

Doesnt work dont waste your time

Not working!!!!! Downloaded and APP was shutting down allll the time.

Dont bother unless you want to buy accessories. My official Apple TV remote app has stopped working and looking for alternatives. This by far is not one.

You need an attachment (which should be stated in larger typeface so that people can see). But going to their website to learn about the attachment only leads you back to here. If the developer wants people to buy the app and the attachment, make it easier for us to find the information. Dont make us read 10 pages or click on 10 links to get the info. I would never recommend this vendor. Clearly does not put themselves in the customers shoes.

I downloaded this to use as a backup for the Apple TV remote. I went to the iwavit website, as instructed, to "get" whatever else I needed, but couldnt figure it out. I did the same exact thing recently for the ROKU iPhone app and it worked like a charm immediately after downloading. If it isnt simple, what is the point?

Need to buy something to work

This is a piece of crap and is not worth getting for free they need to make it clearer u need to buy something for it and going online and following the directions is also crap it is to hard to figure out. I think it would be awesome if u didnt need an accessory for it

I put five stars to be at the top to let everyone know that you have to buy an accessory and have the original remote. Piece of crap app

Pretty much worthless with out the required purchase...what a waste Apple needs to come out with app For Apple TV remote control always misplacing my Apple TV controller

Downloaded just to see what everyone was hating about, get a link to a website so that you can purchase equipment for a round 45 bucks if that is what you want.
